Giddy-Yo Cacao Beans are very special! Giddy-Yo sources only the true Criollo species cultivated in the fertile region of Cusco, Peru. This paste is certified organic, Rainforest Alliance certified, common allergen-free, non GMO, naturally vegan and delicious!.
The beans are hand-selected, fermented and dried to perfection. The skins are removed from the dried bean (aka winnowed) then ground into a liquid, tempered, cooled into a solid form and kibbled for ease of use. Cacao is lab tested, clean and pure, never “Dutched” nor treated with toxic chemicals. GY cacao paste is low temperature processed from start to finish to maximize quality and taste while maintaining nutritional integrity.
