A compact red bean that’s mildly sweet, strengthening, balancing, and easy to digest. Aduki are adaptable to any cuisine, and highly regarded in macrobiotics. They are Japan’s most popular bean, traditionally served there on New Year’s to bring good fortune, and at other festive occasions.
